Bertha Vaughn

Our blessed Mother Bertha Mae Vaughn was a servant of thy Lord Jesus.  At the young age of nine-years old, following her baptism, Bertha Mae was bestowed a face-to-face Visitation with the King of Kings, Eternal Glory.  As she gazed and beheld His glory: The King, Dressed in a glistening Robe appeared in His glorified Body; standing in the midst with His Arms stretched out beckoning His Daughter to cometh with Him.  The child, Bertha Mae answered her Master, I am not ready yet.

Throughout her lifetime, Bertha Mae would experience divine interventions and Holy Angels who would accompany her wherever she went. Surely, she was most highly favored by our Holy Father.

Mother Vaughn was a strikingly beautiful woman known for her soft-spoken voice, Indian features and red curly long hair.  The Mother of Zion was small in stature with a strong prophetic dream and healing mantle. She was a faithful and devoted member of Solid Rock (in Brooklyn) where she was the Mother, Devotional Leader and Recording Secretary.

In the early morning of October 14, 2008, after a lengthy illness, Mother Bertha Vaughn exhorted what would becometh her final impartation, sang one of her favorite hymns, Oh Lord Remember Me and drifted off to sleep.  As His Beloved Daughter slept, our Holy Christ took her Home to Heaven and left His Glory and a most glorious smile upon her countenance.  For most marvelously, the small marks of Mother Vaughn's suffering whereby was upon her blessed countenance had vanished.

Mother Vaughn left an edible mark in the Prospect Heights, Brooklyn community in which our precious mother lived most of her life.  On the evening of her public viewing in October of 2008 lines to entereth into her church home could be seen around the block of its location. The overflowing joy of thy Lord wherefore mother gracefully carried in her heart touched and transformed many lives.

Mother Vaughn's love, compassion and devotion to her four children: Apostle Tonya, Jermaine, Ronald and Jennifer, grandchildren and the elderly remaineth fondly remembered and cherished.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished  my course, I have kept the faith.  The Second Book of Timothy 4:7
